What I did on my winter vacation...

After Quilt Market and Festival, I like to give myself a "winter vacation"--ok, it's technically still fall, but I NEEDED a break.

My friend, Karla Schulz had given me a wonderful gift collection of fat quarters with the stipulation that they could only be used for play. (She knows me so well! I always tend to turn everything into PFA projects.)

Here's what I did--no planning, no creative layouts, just cut and sewed for the joy of the process! It reminded me of a new box of crayons. I used my new Scrap Crazy ruler set from Creative Grids. Love those!
