Square Dance Cut Loose Press - Uses CGRCP1
Square Dance CLP
The Square Dance uses a wedge tool in a new way. Wedges make more than circles. They can do all sorts of things!
The quilt pictured here is 61" x 78" -- a great lap quilt size. One thing I know you'll love about it, is you can use those 10" pre-cuts you've stashed. That's what I did for both the cover (turquoise and blue) and the bright and happy one.
The pattern is also a great value. It's straightforward two page Cut Loose Press pattern printed on an 8-1/2" x 11" card stock. In it you'll have all you need to get started with you new CGRCP1 ten degree wedge tool.
The ten degree wedge creates wonderful circular quilts. Thirty-six wedge pieces make circles up to 45 inches. Or, use the same wedge to cut extensions to create a circle up to 66 inches. Eighteen wedges make a semi-circle; nine make a quarter circle. 20, 30, 45 and 60 degree angle lines add endless design possibilities.
The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts!
