As a pattern designer and book author I try my best to avoid errors. You can look at a document over and over, sometimes so much you just miss what will seem to you the most obvious details. I also have friends and family look them over. Most designs are tested, yet goofs still slip by us all.

Next, know that when an error occurs, we correct it before the next printing. So if you can't find the error in your copy, know you have a later version and the error has been corrected.

So this being said, I apologize for those errors that get by us and end up confusing you at your end.

Here is a list. Some have a download associated with the pattern, others just include the correction. As soon as an error is found, we attempt to correct it for reprints, so you may find your copy is correct.

Jewel Box Designs often show cutting the Gem Ten from an 11" strip. Some have asked if you cut off the "tip" left behind. Yes, you do. Here are some diagrams for both the full Gem Ten and The partial Gem Ten cut:

Moroccan Tile Pattern:
So sorry but the first group of Moroccan Tile patterns have a few errors:
Page 1-- Fabric H should read 7" x width and it will use the Gem Ten tool
Page 4-- letters in diagrams are correct. Text letters are incorrect.
Yardage on back doesn't include the binding--increase fabric D by 10"--the 1 1/2 will do, but you may want to go to 1 2/3 yd
If you've cut your H fabric 5" wide, just sub-cut the strip into ten 5" x 7" rectangles and cut the partial Gem 10s from these pieces.

Bronze Mosaic should have you cut 10 A1 and A2 pieces.  Also for the first shipment of patterns the insert had the A2 pattern piece shifted on the fabric by about 1/2". Click here for a better fabric scan.

Also note the diagrams above.

Ferris Wheel fabric codes are incorrect.

Phoenix Addendum:The template for the tail feather, found in the insert pullout section and shown on pages 24 & 26 will extend beyond the edge of the fabric. I suppose I was over zealous making sure you had enough fabric for this step. Know it will be trimmed to the correct size in the "Re-cut wedge" step.

Download the corrected Phoenix/Eagle label page here.

The Z line referred to on Pages 24 & 26? This is the dashed yellow line on the template page. Sorry the label "Z" got dropped.

Pansy Addendum: Page 39, Color G-Two strips should be 130" x 19 1/2", not 9 1/2". Sorry for the error.
If you've unfortunately cut the fabric already, piece on another
9 1/2" strip to the Color G strip. Again, I'm sorry for the error. We assume the little digit "1" just got dropped after all the editing.

Fantasy Flower Addendum: I have a problem with right/left on Page 31
Should say:Wedges Left1. Place the 2L marked wedge line on the B/G seam of Strip Set Left.
Cut nine wedges. Label as 2L.
2.Place the 3L marked wedge line on the B/G seam of Strip Set Left.
Cut nine wedges. Label as 3L.
Page 32 should say:Wedges Right 1. Place the 2R marked wedge line on the B/G seam of Strip Set Right. Cut nine wedges. Label as 2R. 2. Place the 3R marked wedge line on the B/G seam of Strip Set Right. Cut nine wedges. Label as 3R.
I apologize for the errors. If you follow the wedge labeling it should be ok.
